V-Neck Fit and Flare Review

Flattering and Comfortable Fit and Flare Top

(Disclosure: I was gifted this fit and flare top in return for my review. My opinions are 100% honest and the writing is my own. Photography by William Ross.)

I always love it when I find a new top that is stylish, comfortable and attractive on my body shape. The top I am sharing with you today fits all of those criteria! I was so happy when Pauline Durban, Founder/President of Covered Perfectly, agreed to send me a top to try out and review. There were many colors to choose from, but you knew I would choose blue, didn't you?!

The V-Neck Fit and Flare top (affiliate link) style slims the waist area while the "flare" covers the tummy area nicely. I think it is a very flattering look and the Micromodal®/Spandex material is quite soft and comfortable against my skin.

The top is tunic style and is long enough to provide full coverage of the derriere. I chose to style it with white ankle pants, but it would look great with leggings or jeans, as well.

The V-Neck is quite flattering and not too low. Sometimes, I have difficulty with V-Necks being too low on me, but that was not the case with this top. I'm showcasing the top so didn't add any extras, but this top would look great with a scarf or necklace. A jacket or sweater over it would be lovely, also.

This is more of a side view. I'm trying to let you see the top from all angles. Because the fabric is thinner, I did wear a smoothing cami type top underneath so the outline of my bra and the snap on my pants wouldn't show through. I am wearing a size Medium, but a size Large probably would have worked for me, also. I do like how the Medium fits so well at the top of the garment, though. And the 3/4 sleeve length is perfect for me!

If you visit the Covered Perfectly site, (affiliate link) and I hope you will, you can learn more about the MicroModal®  fabric. The site states it is "breathable" which is good for women having hot flashes and that this fabric is made to sit close to the skin. The site also states that the top is machine washable, lay flat to dry and is made in the USA. Pauline was kind in offering my readers a special coupon code that you can use to save 20% off one or two items. Just be sure to use code DR20 when you make your purchase so you can receive this discount. Enjoy!

Such a beautiful top Debbie! I have visited their website often but have not yet purchased. Keep hearing such positive things. This is so flattering, and I love the fit and flare style. It looks like it can be dressed up or worn casually, depending on what you're doing and where you're going. I can see it being very dressy too! I always admire the gorgeous scenery around your house! So much of what I love about North Carolina!

This top is so lovely, Debbie! I love the color, the flare and cut of the top, and the versatility. I plan to visit the website since I'm not familiar with this brand of clothing until now.
